Working across the UK, Mona Group have decades of experience in all aspects of the lifting business. We provide the planning, expertise, equipment and personnel for the safe and controlled movement of large, heavy, or awkward objects. Typical items lifted might include generators, machinery and control panels, or structural components for buildings or bridges. The chances are that if it can be lifted then we have lifted it!
Our lifts are meticulously planned, adhere strictly to all industry guidelines and are executed by our own experienced personnel, according to detailed risk assessment, and are backed by £2m professional indemnity insurance.

With our in-house engineering department Mona Group are experts in the design and manufacture of bespoke lifting devices; including lifting beams, spreader beams and counter-balance beams. We also install and site-test lifting equipment and can prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements including Lift Plans which are generated by our Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) specific to our client’s needs. We are LEEA full members.
Mona Group also provide a full range of consultancy, lifting equipment maintenance and statutory inspection and testing services. We work for clients with anything from a single site to many sites with several hundred items of lifting gear. Mona Group will inspect and test to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations), provide a detailed register of equipment and ensure you meet your statutory obligation for six-monthly testing.
We provide testing and inspection of all Working at Height equipment; including harnesses, lanyards and anchor points, and we work with high rope course installers and several fire station training towers.
