Mona Group’s services to the manufacturing industry are as varied as they are specialised. We provide bespoke fabrication in steel, stainless steel and aluminium, a range of specialist industrial coatings, and a lifting and handling service for heavy and over-size industrial machinery.

Fabrication and engineering

Working in steel, stainless steel and aluminium we can design, fabricate and install all manner of pipework, valves, tanks, pressure vessels, ducting, access platforms, racking and cradles. We provide an end-to-end service, from 2D / 3D design and modelling through to specialist welding, fabricated welded components, and qualification testing of welds, all undertaken to the current applicable standards.

Cranes and control systems

Mona Group undertake the design and installation, as well as testing, inspection and maintenance of a wide range of fixed and overhead travelling cranes for all manner of industrial, commercial and manufacturing businesses. From simple XY cranes, to complex XYZ installations. We have expertise in all types of control system, from manual control to full remote / PLC control, as well as remote and camera operated cranes where added safety is a requirement or where the crane is located in a harsh or dangerous environment.

Production component coatings

Sub-contracting to the manufacturing industry our specialist coatings division can provide a contract blast / blast and coat service on production components. A range of coatings are available from gloss enamel to multi-coat 2-pack epoxy systems as well as metal spraying, specialist non-slip surfaces and pipeline coatings including ceramic coatings.

Lifting & handling

Mona Group have decades of experience in all aspects of the lifting business. We provide the planning, expertise, equipment and personnel for the safe and controlled movement of large, heavy, or awkward objects and have routinely lifted items such as heavy machinery, generators and structural components.

Our lifts are meticulously planned, adhere strictly to all industry guidelines and are executed by our own experienced personnel, according to detailed risk assessment, and are backed by £2m professional indemnity insurance.
