Cleaning & corrosion protection for large-scale carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium components

Mona Group have in-house state of the art blasting, coating and painting facilities. Our blast cleaning booth can be utilised for chilled iron grit, shot, glass, garnet, steel and CuSO4 blasting of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium. We can accommodate components measuring up to 4.5m (height) x 4.5m (width) x 15m (length), and the booth is equipped with an internal crane and grit recovery and extraction systems. We provide blast cleaning services to SA21/2 BS EN ISO 8501 (preparation of steel substrates before application of paints and related products).

Our spray booth can accommodate components measuring up to 4.5m (height) x 4.5m (width) x 22m (length) and features filtered input air and fume extraction and recirculated heat input. We provide airless and air spraying to BS EN ISO 12944 (corrosion protection of steel structures by protective paint systems). We have ISO 9001 Certification for Quality Management, ISO 45001 Certification for Health and Safety, and ISO 14001 Certification for Environmental Management to minimise and maintain our environmental impact.

We also provide a mobile / on-site blast cleaning and painting service, and routinely provide shot blasting and painting of large-scale structures such as bridges and pylons.

Paint testing & reports

Our expertise in painting and coatings allows us to offer a paint analysis and reporting service. Utilising the latest DFT testing and coating adhesion testing equipment we can advise and report on paint quality and lifespan, allowing customers to increase the life of their structural components.
